Research Legal System Journal is an international journal published on April 24, 2025 by the Indonesian Research Legal System Association. The journal regularly publishes articles and research reports three times a year (April, August, December). The journal has gone through a peer-review process that provides a dynamic platform for the dissemination of ideas on comparative law and reports on developments in the field of criminal law from all parts of the world. The journal focuses on national and international criminal law. The aim of this journal is to serve as an academic platform in providing a scientific forum for academics, legal practitioners, researchers, and policy makers to discuss criminal law issues and contribute scientific thoughts in the development of criminal law. The Editors encourage authors to submit articles that are interdisciplinary and/or analyze legal issues from a comparative perspective. We particularly welcome proposals outlining how comparative methods are applied in domestic and international lawmaking and jurisprudence. We therefore invite original contributions on criminal law. All papers submitted to this journal must be written in English. In principle, the journal's editorial policy is to favor contributions that will be of interest to the majority of readers - contributions that, if specialized, nevertheless serve to bring to the fore matters of broader interest or importance within their specialization.
